About Ashley Renee:

Ashley Renee has always been destined to be a leader. At the age of ten, she sold handcrafted stationary door to door, at 13 she choreographed multiple routines for local talent shows, and after placing second at Youth Speaks International Spoken Word Contest, she began coaching slam poets and directing high school plays all the while preparing her own school lunch. Today, she is growing Central Florida’s plant-based gem, Sweet Utopian and has no plans of slowing down anytime soon. With a degree in International Politics and Diplomacy, Ashley implemented her leadership skills for the Florida Department of Transportation and a private engineering firm overseeing quality assurance of Transit Safety Programs and Grant Administration, as well as launching Orlando’s first Sun Rail project. After a year of working in the private and public sector, she decided to go into business for herself. Although her commitment to a vegan commercial cleaning company was short-lived, she found herself craving independence in the food and beverage industry. In 2014, the concept of a plant-based food source with rivaling flavors was created and Sweet Utopian was introduced to the public. Amongst baked goods and savory selections, Ashley’s flavored alternative milk became the forefront of her company. It is sold in the most historic and popular eateries of Central Florida’s food conscious community. Ashley’s journey has been filled with lessons, adventure, criticism, turmoil, and multiple new beginnings. Today, she aims to empower everyone to listen to their inner leader and continues to share her experiences in business.
